1. Did you know when Jesus died, He expected YOU to take over His ministry?
2. Did you know God empowered us to do that by giving every true Christian His Holy Spirit? The same Spirit that created the Heaven and the Earth and rose Jesus from the dead lives in you!
3. Did you know God empowered us with gifts to accomplish our call, gifts that He will NEVER take back?
It is NOT about you! It is NOT about your personal skills, abilities, education, or strength! It is ALL about the POWER of the Holy Spirit living in you!!!!
You aren’t called to be God, you are called to be a vessel of God, an obedient, faithful and trusting child of God!
The verses:
1. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these,
because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12 NIV
2. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NIV
What does that mean? God does NOT give us a percentage of His Spirit based on our maturity. God doesn’t give one person 14% percent, another 65% and maybe on rare occasions give someone 100%. When God’s Spirit comes to live in us, it’s always 100%. WE decide how much and how often WE allow God’s Spirit to work and flow in us and through us.
We have 100% of the Holy Spirit and His Fruit in us 24 hours a day. It is up to us to learn how to allow it to flow in us and through us.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control……” Galatians 5:22–23
You don’t have to cry out or beg God for more joy, or faith, or self-control. You have to learn how to ALLOW the Holy Spirit to manifest each of His Fruit in you and through you. They are already in you, 100% in you.
3. “For God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29
Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance which translates the words to it’s original meaning at the time it was written states the word “Irrevocable” means: “no change of mind can take place”. God will NOT change His mind!
It’s YOUR moment! Have FAITH, total, complete FAITH in God’s plan and step out of your comfort zone, and allow God to do something far greater than you, something you could never accomplish through your own skills or abilities. It’s YOUR moment!

I’ve noticed an increasing number of insulting, degrading, and demeaning comments from both liberals and conservatives, even among conservative Christians, directed at those with different views.
I want to speak directly to conservative Christians:
What do you hope to accomplish by belittling, insulting or mocking someone who disagrees with you politically? Do you really believe that bullying or intimidation will persuade them to see your perspective, or change their opinion?
As a comparison: Is that how we’re called to witness about Jesus? Did He teach us to insult those who reject His message, or to demean and intimidate them? Or did He show us how to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide our words, and to pray for others so their hearts may be opened to the truth?
Think about how people would respond if you approached them with name calling and hostility while trying to share Jesus with them.
Whether it’s religion, politics, family. or work, our words and behavior speak volumes. We can do better than that.
